OOH a weekend away
There is a car booked so this should be exciting enough in of itself. The weekend is in the South Downs which I imagine has a high ratio of Tories so we should try to avoid people as much as possible, but it is only ~2hrs from Hackney so it felt good for a short weekend trip. Anyhow, the place looks cabin-ish, cozy and it has a sauna, outdoor bath, firepit and projector (at least according to the listing). So we should pack the HDMI cable, swimmers and wood.
UGH it’s my birthday
FFS another year older AND really there isn’t anything specifically planned for today so maybe we can go for a climb and to St John for some bone marrow or hit up a cool wine bar for some expensive bread now we are ‘wine bar people’. Maybe you just want to hang out on the Clapton roundabout, guzzle petrol and try and communicate with swans. Or just let this day pass by with little to no fanfare. Whatever you fancy, I am game.
